The crossed lines across the warm front advancing northwestward across Ireland on these two forecast charts from the Met Office indicate that its undergoing frontolysis and decaying. Why it’s overhead Belfast at 00 UTC on Sunday and then 12 hours later has moved backward 100 km and still has to clear Dublin is anyone’s guess. These forecast charts were purportedly issued at the same time according to weathercharts.org, obviously they either (a) weren’t or (b) whoever did them couldn’t give a hoot for continuity or (c) a new model run arrived.
